Biggest Wedding Event of the Year {DFW, Frisco Wedding Photographer}
I photographed one of the most important wedding events in my life....my daughter's. Ok, really, it was not "her" wedding, it was Bunny Cupcake and Wilbur's big day. You see my daughter wanted a wedding theme birthday. She had many of the elements planned..the dance, the cake, the cake topper, the dress, and the photos. In her short years, she has watched me go off to weddings, talk about brides and dresses, appointments, and even watched a photo shoot. I thougth I would share with you...the biggest event of the year (her birhday).

Lets Get Inspired...
You are ready to plan your wedding. You think about colors, dress, flowers, budget, the list of what to do and when to do it, who to invite, when to contact vendors, etc, etc. How do you make a plan? Do you know your style? Where do you start? How about an inspiration board!
Start with what you like: your colors, your dress, your cake. Collect images from magazines, websites, books and then create an inspiration "folder" to share with your florist, your baker, your photographer.
From my earliest memories, I loved colors, textures, trends, and "pretties." I created my inspiration "folder" instead of a inspiration board. (You know I could not be limited.) I called this folder: the Three P's...Pink, Purple, Plum. I would look through magazines for inspiration and ideas. If the "pretties" caught my eye, I added it to my collection. I still look days when I can browse through magazines and books to spot my "pretties". Yes, my color choices have changed a bit, my style is a bit less frilly but the inspiration is all the same. I love to see what inspires my brides so I feel the excitement and can then inspire you again.
Now, I have found a great little site that you can play on to create your own inspiration board. I have to admit I loved mixing and matching the photos. I created a sample of a gray and plum collection...plum was last year but I just can't let it go after all these years. Enjoy and inspire yourself!

Sharing your photos with your guests
You have thought about this day since you were small. Some ideas have probably changed...perhaps the hot pink tutus are not a good idea. Some have stayed with you...your dad's face as he walks you down the aisle. Now your wedding is here and you are into the details of it all and you are ready to share your vision with friends and family.
A wonderful great way of sharing your day with them is through photographs.
As you view your engagement and bridal portraits, think of ways to share these images with your guests. Slide presentations are a huge hit. Others include Save the date cards, bookmarks, magnets, and coasters. There are many creative ways to create your individual wedding day items and share these precious images. One trend is customized wine labels. This has a bonus; guests can drink it and enjoy the photo.
So I found www.LoveWineShop.com and Ashley will walk you through the process and help you pick the wine. Once you select that, you can design or work with your photographer to create a one of a kind label just for you.
Here is a toast to you and your special day.
